Dedalus Capital, Ltd. has two primary components to its business:
(i) Venture: venture finance and start-up management consulting and
(ii) IP: the development, acquisition and licensing of intellectual property.
On the venture side, Dedalus has a boutique management consulting and venture focus,
by which it invests cash and management expertise in diverse project areas ranging from quantum technology to independent films to real estate.
In certain cases, Dedalus will simply make an investment of cash.
In other cases, Dedalus will provide its management
and deal-making expertise to a client or portfolio
company, and will advise on specific projects,
strategies or transactions.
In addition to its venture activities, Dedalus
develops and seeks to acquire highly specialized
intellectual property with a focus on technology
applications. Dedalus then utilizes this intellectual
property for its own operational or business
development purposes, or for those of its third-party
clients or portfolio companies.
Dedalus Capital is managed by its Founder and CEO,
Kevin Fortuna.
